Good news for bakery enthusiasts in San Antonio! The popular Taiwan-based coffee chain, 85°C Bakery Café, is gearing up to roll out the red carpet in its very first San Antonio outlet on June 28, according to information from the company’s website.
Located at 12710 W I-10, near Camp Bullis, the chain spotlights its iconic coffee brewed with Guatemalan beans at a blistering hot 85 degrees Celsius, equivalent to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The creators of the chain discovered this to be the ideal brewing temperature for espresso coffee, which inspired the brand name.
Every 85°C Bakery Café outlet offers a plethora of over 50 types of pastries freshly baked in-house, ranging from simple US coffee shop staples like Danish and milk breads, according to the chain’s online menu. For the more adventurous clientele, there are a variety of Taiwanese delicacies on offer such as red bean bread, taro puff pastry, and ube bread.
85°C has successfully established its presence with two branches in the Austin area and multiple ones near Dallas and Irving. Apart from Texas, their U.S. stores are located in various states including California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Hawaii, and Arizona.
