That’s right, folks! The famous H-E-B Christmas tree will soon grace Travis Park, and we can hardly contain our holiday cheer!
The Big Delivery
Mark your calendars because on Tuesday, the magic begins. A massive 40-foot Nordmann Fir tree all the way from Oregon will be carefully transported and set in place in the heart of downtown. But before you rush to see it, a little heads-up for drivers: street closures will start as early as 8 a.m.. Specifically, Pecan Street between Navarro and Jefferson will experience some temporary disruptions, so make sure to plan an alternate route to avoid any traffic hassles. The streets are expected to reopen by 2 p.m., just in time for the evening festivities!
Getting Ready for the Light Show
Once the tree is securely positioned, the fun truly begins! Over the next few days, it will be transformed into a sparkling spectacle, adorned with more than 10,000 dazzling white lights and adorned with dozens of colorful handmade ornaments. Isn’t that just magical? Each year, H-E-B generously invests over $250,000 to cover costs for transportation, decorations, and lighting. Now that’s what we call holiday spirit!

The excitement culminates next Friday, November 29, when the official H-E-B Tree Lighting ceremony takes place.
