After nearly 20 years of serving high quality, traditional Japanese cuisine to the community, San Antonio’s beloved Godai Sushi Bar and Restaurant will regrettably be closing its doors for the last time on Saturday, August 31, 2024. The news has sent a wave of sadness over the community that for two decades, made Godai a part of their culinary routine.

The restaurant, since opening its doors in 2005, has been renowned for its variety of Japanese-style dishes encompassing sushi, spring rolls, and fried rice.
