San Antonio,the city welcomes an exciting opportunity for aspiring actors with the filming of season 2 of ‘1923’, the Yellowstone prequel series. Producers are calling for background actors while shooting takes place in the city during September.

Details about the Casting Call

The casting company Legacy Casting has revealed that the shooting will occur on September 23 as per a recent Facebook post. Potential actors are required to prepare for a full day, 12-hour shoot likely to commence at the crack of dawn around 5 a.m. The company has stated that dress and trouser sizes will be limited.

Interested parties are asked to submit applications through MyCastingFile.com or via email at extras@legacycasting.com. The series has already begun fittings for its shooting scenes in Austin, and there is still a chance to be an extra in Austin if actors show up on the respective filming days.

The San Antonio Film Commission has indicated that the shooting for ‘1923’ will be undertaken throughout a popular downtown area. Consequently, commuters and pedestrians can expect some disruption due to street closures in the vicinity.

The closures will be primarily along Broadway, sandwiched between East Pecan Street and East Houston Street and will include East Travis Street and Peacock Alley from Jefferson Street to North Alamo Street the week of September 16. Traffic disruptions are set to begin around Friday, September 6, continuing through to September 15, with street parking on Broadway closed between East Pecan and East Travis Street.
