Aztec Theatre Owner to Launch Amorino Gelato Franchise in San Antonio

San Antonio will welcome the cherished taste of French-Italian dessert later this year as Amorino, the renowned Italian-style gelato and artisanal ice cream boutique, prepares to open its doors in the city. Public documentation reveals that Aztec Family Group LLC, the owner of Aztec Theatre and Sam’s Burger Joint, will own the local Amorino franchise.

Details of the Establishment

The gelato store anticipates operating out of a 500-square-foot space at 200 Riverwalk, Suite 105, a property that also accommodates the Iron Cactus Mexican Restaurant. Construction work on the outlet is currently in progress, with completion scheduled for Nov. 30, according to files submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

It’s still unclear whether the Aztec Family Group plans to open more Amorino franchises, as their CEO Samuel Panchevre wasn’t available for comments about the new venture.

Amorino: Serving Authentic Italian Gelato Globally

Opened over two decades ago, Amorino has grown into a widely esteemed gelato franchise with 250 stores spread across 18 countries. The ever-present allure of their menu lies in the diverse array of gelato flavours, vegan sorbets, and various coffee-shop treats.

The state of Texas is smoothly capturing the franchise’s attention as there are five operational Amorino locations — three in Dallas-Fort Worth and two in Houston.

Tickling San Antonio’s Taste Buds with Authentic Gelato

San Antonio residents and gelato adorers alike are bound to enjoy the unique gastronomical experience offered by the French ice cream company, known for its exquisite Italian-style gelato. The upcoming Amorino store will surely entice local gelato lovers with its delightful range of flavours and vegan options. This new franchise location, backed by the established and beloved Aztec Theatre’s owners, is destined to become a foodie hot spot in the local area.

After expanding its footprint worldwide, Amorino now aims to melt the hearts of San Antonio residents with their passionately made gelato and sorbets. This latest venture highlights the continuous vitality of the local food scene, with well-known businesses branching out into novel culinary territories and opening up more options for fans to savour.

As the city eagerly awaits the inaugural opening of the Amorino store, Sam Panchevre and the Aztec Family Group LLC continue to contribute and enrich the local culinary scene, one cone of artisanal gelato at a time!
