San Antonio is set to welcome Amorino, a beloved French gelato chain, to its vibrant food scene later this year. This exciting new franchise will be located at 200 Riverwalk, Suite 105, nestled within the same building as the popular Iron Cactus Mexican Restaurant.
Known for its artisanal gelato and vibrant flavors, Amorino has been captivating taste buds worldwide since its inception over two decades ago. With over 250 stores across 18 countries, the San Antonio location marks the franchise’s sixth in Texas, joining existing shops in Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston.
Construction on the 500-square-foot gelato shop is already in the works, with an anticipated completion date of November 30. As excitement builds for this sweet addition, local residents eagerly await the opportunity to indulge in a range of delectable gelato flavors, vegan sorbets, and trendy coffee options.
The Aztec Family Group LLC, the company behind the iconic Aztec Theatre and Sam’s Burger Joint, is spearheading this new venture. While CEO Samuel Panchevre has not commented on future expansion plans for Amorino, the local community is hopeful for more locations to pop up in the city.
Visitors can expect a delightful menu featuring classic gelato flavors alongside vegan sorbet options, catering to diverse dietary preferences. The addition of a cozy coffee shop vibe promises to make this location a go-to spot for both gelato lovers and those looking for a relaxing place to unwind.
As the opening date approaches, locals are buzzing with excitement about the arrival of this new gelato haven. With Amorino’s reputation for quality and fun, San Antonio is set to gain a refreshing new destination for sweet treats in the Riverwalk area.
