This past Sunday in Bexar County, things took a wild turn when a couple of young men decided to make some reckless choices. Around 4:30 p.m., just as people were going about their weekend, a shocking carjacking unfolded in the bustling area of Austin Highway.

The Start of a Chaotic Situation

Picture this: a person was parked in their Ford Explorer, chilling and waiting on their family outside a local store. Suddenly, their peaceful moment was interrupted by two men – both 22 years old – who approached them with the intent of robbing them. With a gun flashed in front of him, the driver had no choice but to relinquish his vehicle to these would-be criminals, who quickly sped away from the scene.

Quick Action by the Police

Luckily, the police were promptly alerted to the situation and sprang into action. Officers quickly passed the alert to the robbery detectives, who wasted no time in tracking down the stolen Ford Explorer to an apartment complex located on Harry Wurzbach Road on San Antonio’s North Side.
