The crash occurred shortly after 4:15 PM near Fair Oaks Ranch Parkway. A parent, while loading her children into the car, accidentally accelerated, resulting in a devastating collision with another vehicle. This violent encounter pushed both cars through a fence, leaving a scene of chaos where innocent lives were tragically changed.
Following the crash, emergency responders rushed to the scene and quickly transported Mkaya to University Hospital. Unfortunately, by that time, she had suffered critical injuries and was placed on life support. It is reported that Mkaya had been trapped beneath one of the vehicles, and concern has been raised that she may have gone without oxygen for a considerable time while waiting for help to arrive.
