Frightful Assault Recorded on Phone

According to local law enforcement, the stabbing took place just shy of 9 p.m. on March 3 at the Vive Apartments. The vicinity is located off Fredericksburg Road, near Wurzbach Road. Citing the incident as chilling, officials revealed that the victim was able to capture a recording of her attacker on her mobile phone, moments before the brutal attack. She survived her injuries and is currently under recovery.

Attacker’s Vehicle Identified

In a turn of events that has increased the likelihood of locating the attacker, images of the suspect’s car were extracted from the victim’s recording. Law enforcement identified it as a gold Lexus SUV and subsequently released the images to the public, in hopes of hastening their pursuit.

Aggravated Assault Charges Await the Suspect

The Surveillance footage was enough for the local authorities to slap the suspect with a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a serious offense in most jurisdictions.

In further attempts to capture the suspect, local authorities have engaged the public in the investigation.
