CTX Fellowship Conference 24 Fosters Community and Inspiration in Killeen, Texas

Killeen, Texas – A Weekend of Inspiration and Community at CTX Fellowship Conference 24

What a weekend it has been for the folks in Killeen! The city rolled out the welcome mat for the CTX Fellowship Conference 24, a vibrant celebration of faith, family, and togetherness held at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center. This year’s event attracted over a hundred attendees excited to connect, learn, and uplift one another in their spiritual journeys.

Singing Praises with Sanctified Harmony

Sunday was filled with uplifting music and messages, starting with the exceptional five-member acapella group, Sanctified Harmony. They kicked things off with powerful praise and worship songs that had everyone tapping their feet and singing along. The group’s infectious energy truly set the tone for the day.

Leading the congregation was Chris Stephens and Joshua Williams from the Avenue G Church of Christ in Temple. Their dynamic performance of familiar hymns like “In My Heart” and “Heaven’s on the Other Side” enveloped the room with warmth and connection. It was a beautiful reminder of how music can bring people together, and the spirit of joy was palpable.

A Powerful Message from B.B. Gatson

Following the musical festivities, B.B. Gatson, a guest speaker and minister at the Liberty View Church of Christ in San Antonio, delivered an inspiring sermon that resonated with many in attendance. His message, titled “As for me and my family, what does that have to do with me”, drew on lessons from the Book of Joshua, encouraging everyone to reflect on their own family values and aspirations for the future.

Gatson’s heartfelt delivery and thought-provoking insights ignited a sense of hope and motivation among attendees as he asked them to pray for one another and their families, reinforcing the bonds of community that were evident throughout the weekend.

Celebration Sunday – A Day of Reflection and Community

The final service of the two-day event beautifully encapsulated the theme of unity, featuring soul-stirring songs and deep conversations that uplifted spirits. The conference, known for its focus on community and spirituality, offered various programs tailored to individuals and families, addressing essential topics that touch everyone’s lives.

Workshops for Families, Couples, and Singles

At this year’s conference, organizers put together a series of enriching seminars aimed at supporting families, youth, and singles in their journeys. A special family seminar provided tools and insights to help parents navigate modern challenges, such as balancing work and home life, reinforcing family bonds, and promoting open communication.

The youth seminar brought in fresh ideas to engage and inspire young people, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-paced world. Topics included mental health awareness and digital safety, ensuring they feel empowered to tackle contemporary issues robustly and confidently.

Couples also had the opportunity to attend a comprehensive marriage seminar. This session focused on communication, intimacy, and maintaining a strong relationship amidst the challenges of modern life. It provided a safe space for couples to discuss their experiences and learn from skilled facilitators.

For those navigating singlehood, there was a specific session dedicated to the unique aspects of being single in today’s society. As single individuals explored the intricacies of dating and personal growth, they also built community with others sharing similar journeys, fostering connections that might last well beyond the weekend.

Looking Ahead with Optimism

Overall, the CTX Fellowship Conference 24 was a resounding success, filled with inspiration, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose. It served as a reminder of the power of faith and community to uplift and transform lives. With the atmosphere of hope buzzing in the air, attendees left with full hearts, ready to carry the spirit of togetherness back to their homes.

As participants reflected on the weekend, many were left looking forward to next year’s conference, eager to continue the journey of personal and community growth together. It truly is exciting to see how moments like these can leave lasting impressions on our lives, helping us be the best versions of ourselves.
