Halloween might be months away, but the city of San Antonio is set to give enthusiasts a taste of the spooky season with the inauguration of the much-anticipated Cursed City Con. The conference is happening ahead of the Halloween season, kicking off on September 7 at the Norris Conference Centers at Park North.
The event promises to be a melting pot of creativity and talent, bringing together stars from popular shows such as ‘Walking Dead,’ ‘Stranger Things,’ and ‘Five Nights At Freddy’s’. The opportunity to connect with celebrities like Greg Nicotero, Randy Havens, Regina Ting Chen, and more is expected to draw fans from across the region.
Organizers are leaving no stone unturned in establishing Cursed City Con as a premier horror exposition. Besides celebrity meet-and-greets, the event boasts a rich line-up of activities, such as autograph signings, photo ops, a “Terror High Film Festival,” a “Cursed Cabin Escape Room,” and a costume contest. Independent and international short films will also be featured, promising a diverse and unforgettable experience for horror cinema enthusiasts and fans.
The Norris Conference Centers, the venue for the event, is strategically located at 618 NW Loop 410, making it convenient for attendees. Beginning at $34.99, ticket prices have been kept affordable, while photo ops will carry an additional cost. For more information and updates, fans are encouraged to monitor the event’s official channels.
Cursed City Con aims to provide horror enthusiasts with an ‘immersive experience’ that leaves attendees with thrilling memories. Jesus Hernandez, the showrunner, emphasized the team’s deep love for horror and commitment to crafting a top-tier event that would satiate fans’ appetite for the genre.
This dedication and passion are clear in the efforts behind this inaugural event. As the countdown begins for the first-ever Cursed City Con, San Antonio is gearing up to host what promises to become the ultimate pre-Halloween horror haven.
