On Sunday, the Midwest emo rockers, known as ‘The Get Up Kids’, drew massive crowds as they provided an unforgettable performance at San Antonio’s Paper Tiger.
The band are on the road, commemorating the 25th Anniversary of their popular album Something to Write Home About. ‘The Get Up Kids’ treated their San Antonio fans with a special night, performing their iconic album in its entirety.
Opening for ‘The Get-Up Kids’ were the Smoking Popes, a pop-punk band known for their sprightly energy. They indeed set the stage on fire, amping up the energy in preparation for the headliners.
An eclectic crowd of both new and long-standing fans brought the venue to life, completely engrossed in the electrifying atmosphere. The audience sang along, swayed to the rhythm of the music, and overall, had an absolute blast.
