Fiesta began in 1891 honoring the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto with the first Battle of Flowers Parade. The vibrant decoration of horse-drawn carriages with flowers and children dressing up marked the beginning of an annual tradition. Fast forward to present, Fiesta now generates more than $340 million in economic impact for the community, attracting approximately 2.5 million attendees each year and creating thousands of jobs for locals.
So, mark your calendars and prepare to be mesmerized by the vibrant celebration, the soulful music, and delicious foods at Fiesta 2024.
