Park & Ride services provided by VIA Metropolitan Transit for the Final Four weekend.
VIA Metropolitan Transit is providing special Park & Ride services in San Antonio for this weekend’s Final Four events. Two convenient parking locations, Crossroads Park & Ride and Blossom Athletic Center, will allow fans to easily hop on a bus to see the games without the stress of traffic or parking. The service costs just $1.30 per day, and buses will drop passengers off close to the event. This initiative aligns with the growing need for improved public transit as San Antonio continues to develop.
If you’re in San Antonio this weekend and planning to catch the Final Four excitement, VIA Metropolitan Transit has got you covered! They are rolling out a special Park & Ride service just for this thrilling event. No need to stress about parking or traffic—just hop on a bus and ride in style!
Parking for the Park & Ride service will be available at two locations, making it super easy to find a spot. You can leave your car at Crossroads Park & Ride or Blossom Athletic Center. Both spots are conveniently located and will have buses ready to take you to the heart of the action.
All the buses will drop you off at E. Nueva St. at Jack White Way. That means you’ll be just a short stroll away from all the basketball fun and festivities. Whether you’re catching the games or just soaking in the atmosphere, VIA’s service means you don’t need to worry about finding a place to park close by.
The cost to use the Park & Ride service is very budget-friendly at just $1.30 per day. You can purchase your passes conveniently at the kiosks located at parking sites or through the goMobile+ app if you prefer going digital. Remember, though, that the kiosk sales and service to events will wrap up at 8 p.m. each night during the event, so plan your trip accordingly!
Speaking of future plans, VIA is excited about the proposed Green Line, which would be the first true rapid transit line the city has ever seen. This line hopes to extend to Park & Ride facilities, which could be a fantastic opportunity for improving connectivity across San Antonio. It’s an exciting time for transit in our city, despite some hiccups along the way!
In the meantime, this weekend is all about basketball! Don’t miss the chance to take advantage of VIA’s Park & Ride service so you can focus on enjoying the games without the hassle of traffic or parking. Just grab your friends, catch a bus, and let the fun begin! Whether you’re a die-hard basketball fan or just looking for an entertaining weekend, VIA is here to help you take it all in with ease!
