Despite some financial challenges, the program has made significant strides in fundraising, collecting around $3,000 to $4,000 so far. Yet, they are still on the lookout for additional support to reach their goal before the competition next month.
The SAISD Foundation is stepping up to help by creating a fundraising page designed for donations to assist the mariachi program in this exciting endeavor. The community’s generosity will play a crucial role in ensuring these young musicians can have a memorable experience while pursuing their passion.
