Texas Health Hospital Frisco Leadership Announcement
Texas Health Hospital Frisco announces Tiffany Northern as its new president. Northern, previously COO at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, has extensive healthcare experience, including significant renovation projects and community health engagement initiatives. The hospital continues to expand with plans for a new 242,000-square-foot facility and further developments to accommodate community needs.
Frisco, Texas – Exciting changes are happening at the Texas Health Hospital Frisco as they announce the appointment of Tiffany Northern as the new president. After stepping into the interim role back in December when former president Brett Lee departed, Northern has wasted no time proving that she’s the right fit for the position.
Texas Health Hospital Frisco is particularly special, serving as the only hospital jointly operated by two healthcare powerhouses: UT Southwestern Medical Center and Texas Health Resources. This unique partnership not only benefits the direct management of the hospital but also enhances the community’s access to high-quality medical care, research, and education.
Tiffany Northern isn’t new to this game; she’s been with Texas Health Resources since 2021 as the chief operating officer at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. Before her stint in Texas, she spent nearly seven years as the vice president of operations at the esteemed MedStar Washington Hospital Center in D.C. She also clocked seven years at HCA Healthcare, where she served as associate chief operating officer in Las Vegas. With a resume like that, it’s clear that Northern brings a wealth of experience and leadership to her new role.
During her time with Texas Health, Northern has led various significant projects that aim to elevate the hospital’s capabilities. One of her notable achievements includes directing a remarkable $58 million renovation of the Margot Perot Center for Women and Infants, which showcases her commitment to improving healthcare facilities. She’s also been busy planning a $150 million renovation to support the hospital network’s critical service growth initiative, ensuring that the hospital can meet the escalating needs of the community.
Besides her administrative duties, Northern is genuinely invested in community health. She is a fellow of the American College of Health Service Executives and actively participates in local initiatives, serving on the board of Abide Women’s Health Services Clinic in South Dallas. Additionally, she plays a key role in the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Dallas, championing women’s health in the area.
On the growth front, Texas Health is not slowing down anytime soon. There are plenty of exciting expansion plans in the pipeline, including the construction of a luxurious 242,000-square-foot hospital in Forney, set to break ground in August 2024. Furthermore, Texas Health recently acquired 21 acres of land in Celina for future expansion opportunities. And for those in Plano, buckle up; there’s a jaw-dropping $343 million initiative underway to expand facilities to accommodate the fast-growing population in that area.
With 29 hospitals under its umbrella, Texas Health is on a mission to ensure that every Texan receives the top-tier healthcare they deserve. Since opening its doors in 2019, Texas Health Hospital Frisco has made headlines for its collaborative spirit and commitment to excellence. With Tiffany Northern at the helm, residents can look forward to a future filled with advancement and innovation in healthcare.
