The Return of a Beloved Tradition!

Mark your calendars! The popular Light Up Season in Windcrest is back for its 65th anniversary, and this year’s theme is ‘Blue Sapphire.’ The celebration kicks off on December 7th and features a dazzling Tree Lighting Ceremony, along with the delightful Candy Cane Lane for everyone to enjoy. It’s a beautiful way to kick off the season with community spirit and spectacular displays!

Drive-Through Magic

For those who enjoy a cozy drive-through experience, be sure to visit the Holiday Experience on North Loop 1604 E. Run by a fantastic husband and wife duo, this magical drive-through is filled with fantastic lights set to cheerful music that will definitely get you into the holiday spirit. Admission is just $40 per car or $110 for the entire season, and it’s open from November 22nd to January 4th—a perfect festive night out!

Lights Alive & Winter Wonderland

Opening on the same day, Lights Alive! offers a stunning 1-mile drive-through synchronized light show followed by a Winter Wonderland Park-n-Play. You can meet Santa for photos, embark on summer escape rooms, and browse a cute holiday marketplace tent! You can buy admission for the day or grab a season pass to keep the holiday lights glowing all season long.

Coca-Cola’s Magic at Toyota Field

This winter, Coca-Cola is debuting an immersive holiday experience at Toyota Field. Open from November 22nd to December 29th, you can enjoy an ice-skating rink, a bustling market square, and countless photo ops to capture your favorite moments. It’s an exciting way to feel festive and make unforgettable memories!

The Enchanting River Walk

Another highlight is the famous River Walk lights, which will turn on November 29th. The Annual Ford Holiday River Parade will kick off the season, presenting an impressive display of over 100,000 lights twinkling along the cypress trees. It’s a tradition locals cherish, and everyone agrees that this is something you just can’t miss!

Natural Bridge Caverns: Christmas Wonderland

If you’re looking for something a little different, head over to Natural Bridge Caverns. Opening on December 7th, this attraction features a breathtaking 30-foot Christmas tree, an enchanting 1/3 mile trail of lights, and even an outdoor maze to find Santa’s reindeer! The 38th Annual Light the Way Holiday Festival will light up the University of the Incarnate Word campus on November 23rd. This festive celebration offers plenty of activities and sights that everyone can enjoy.
