Median Home Prices Ascend in Most North San Antonio ZIP Codes

In a recent data release, it has come to light that median home prices in most North San Antonio ZIP codes have witnessed a hike. According to the latest statistics from the San Antonio Board of Realtors, home prices have seen a surge in March 2024 as compared to the same time last year.

Details of the Increase

Taking a deep dive into the data reveals that only one ZIP code, 78248, experienced a dip in home prices. Precisely, prices fell to $510,000 this March from $550,000 in March 2023. However, it can be noted that the trend across the other ZIP codes paints a different picture.

For instance, ZIP codes 78248 and 78260 saw significant increases in the average number of days houses spent on the market. Specifically, the figures are up by 33.82% and 38.88%, respectively.

Drops in Homes Sold

Despite the surge in home prices, the volume of homes sold took a hit in some localities. The number saw a drop in 78230 and 78231 by 48.34% and 45.45% respectively. However, it should not cast a dark shadow over the real estate market as this trend was not uniform across all ZIP codes.

In fact, the number of homes sold registered an increase over March 2023 in ZIP codes 78232, 78258, 78248, 78259, and 78260.

Contribution to the Community

This increase in median home prices serves as a testament to the growing community in San Antonio. With more families settling in this bustling city, the upward trend in real estate prices further bolsters the local economy. It also brings with it promising prospects for local businesses and potential investors looking to establish their footing in the area.

As the market constantly fluctuates, these developments signal positive growth in the areas and present an encouraging scenario for future homebuyers in North San Antonio.

Final Words

Though certain pockets in North San Antonio witnessed a dip in the volume of homes sold, the market overall reflected a sturdy real estate landscape. The substantial rise in median home prices for most ZIP codes underscores the region’s continual growth and its appeal to potential homeowners.

Keep an eye on these developments as you plan your next real estate venture in North San Antonio.
