The development, which was announced on June 7th by Los Angeles-based developer CIM Group, mentioned a long-term lease agreement signed by the two parties.

Homesense will command a prominent 30,256-square-foot space in the bustling Northwoods Shopping Center, reflecting the brand’s confidence in the commercial prospects provided by the upscale shopping complex.

The store is also set to offer other items such as rugs, artworks, lighting solutions, as well as entertaining essentials like bar serveware. Additionally, baskets, bins, and home cleaning supplies will also be found lining its shelves.

Revamping the Vacated Location

The to-be Homesense outlet at the Northwoods Shopping Center was previously occupied by Bed Bath & Beyond until 2023. The area boasts reputable names such as H-E-B, Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom Rack, Marshall’s, Fish City Grill, La Madeleine French Bakery & Café, Chick-fil-A, and Regal Cinemas, ensuring continuous footfall.

According to a release by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the upcoming Homesense store will undergo a $2.1 million renovation starting in July and culminating in early January 2025. An official opening date is yet to be announced.

With Homesense’s quality collection of home decor products and the strategic location of the new store, the residents of North San Antonio can expect a refreshing experience in home shopping upon the opening of this new outlet.
