The incident took place around 7:30 p.m. on the northbound side of the interstate near Frost Bank Center Drive. According to police reports, the driver of a mid-2000s SUV lost control after the tire blew out. In a shocking sequence of events, the driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to crash into a tree.
