Distinguished for its warm, fresh-baked cookies available at all times of the day, the brand will establish one store near Methodist Hospital and another near the University of Texas at San Antonio. These openings mark the brand’s debut in San Antonio and will constitute their 23rd and 24th locations in Texas.

A Sweet Treat for San Antonio

Upon walking into Insomnia Cookies, San Antonio residents can expect a plethora of flavors to choose from. From classic chocolate chunk to snickerdoodle and confetti deluxe, the bakery accommodates every palate. They also serve brookies, brownies, ice cream cookie sandwiches, and blondies – all served warm or cold, to satisfy any craving.

Renowned for its commitment to satiate late-night sweet tooths, many Insomnia Cookies stores operate past midnight and some even offer late-night delivery services until 1 a.m. or later. On particular days, stores close as late as 3 a.m, catering to the city’s nocturnal crowd.

Construction and Opening Details

Construction at the UTSA Boulevard location commenced on May 6th and is expected to wrap up by June 21st, 2024, according to data from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Furthermore, construction at the second location on Gardendale Street is reportedly complete. Insomnia Cookies’ official website lists both locations with a “coming soon” status.
