Back to School: San Antonio Districts Ready to Resume

As we turn the calendar page to August, a sense of anticipation fills the air in San Antonio. Yes, the new school year is fast approaching. With local districts ready to welcome their students back to class throughout the month, we break down the scheduled start dates for those eager young minds.

First Bell Rings: La Vernia ISD and East Central ISD

Among the first districts to switch on the classroom lights is La Vernia ISD, which begins its academic year on August 5th. Shortly after, East Central ISD kick starts its semester on August 7th, helping set the pace for the remaining San Antonio Area schools to follow.

August 12: A Major Kick-Off

Come August 12, an array of districts fling open their doors for young learners, eager to reconnect with school buddies and dive into new lessons. Included in the line-up are:
