The holiday season in San Antonio will miss the glitter from the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, this year. The global pop icon announced her “Christmas Time Tour” but has decided to skip San Antonio. Instead, she will be making stops in Austin, Dallas, and Houston.
The noteworthy omission is raising eyebrows in the city, as her tour is set to include 20 different cities across the nation, with a special guest appearance by DJ Suss One.
To the disappointment of many fans, the general tickets for the “Christmas Time Tour” will be up for grabs on August 9 at 10 a.m. CT, but San Antonio won’t be included in her festive journey.
Mariah Carey, renowned for her holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” has held the record for the longest-running holiday number-one single since its release in 1994. This iconic song has caught the Christmas spirit of fans multiple times over the years.
San Antonio fans will now only be left with hope that the melody of “All I Want for Christmas Is You” will reach their city in one of Mariah Carey’s future tours.
