Medina Valley school district voted to implement school marshals on campus

Texas House Bill 3 requires at least one armed security guard to be present at all times during regular school hours. Medina Valley ISD will be implementing the school marshal program. It allows one licensed professional to carry a certified firearm on school premises. The district plans to hire a new staff member to fill the position.
