SAN ANTONIO – A peaceful night turned tragic when an 18-year-old lost his life in a motorcycle crash on the far North Side, sending shockwaves through the community. The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. on Thursday night in the 3700 block of Bulverde Parkway, close to the intersection with Bulverde Road and not far from Evans Road.
According to the San Antonio police, the teenager was riding his motorcycle northbound on Bulverde Road when he collided with a blue sedan that was making a left turn onto Bulverde Parkway. Sadly, the impact was severe, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. A preliminary report indicates that the driver of the sedan had not been drinking and was taken to a hospital for precautionary reasons.
