In a thrilling revelation from KSAT, the broadcasting network has announced strategic transformations for Good Morning San Antonio (GMSA). Taking effect on August 5, 2024, the GMSA team will be welcoming popular media personality Japhanie Gray back on air. Gray will co-host the GMSA on weekday mornings from 5-7 a.m. with traffic anchor RJ Marquez and meteorologist Justin Horne. Additionally, Gray will also join Stephanie Serna and Horne for GMSA at 9 a.m.
From 2018 to 2021, Gray had entertained and informed viewers with a uniquely energetic approach rooted in journalistic integrity. During her previous tenure at KSAT12, she was an esteemed reporter and fill-in anchor. As of Aug. 5, 2024, viewers will delight in Gray’s on-air return to KSAT, indicating the further strengthening of the network’s dedicated team of journalists.
Alongside Gray’s return, Stephanie Serna is set to shift roles. Serna joined GMSA in 2020 and has since become an essential part of the morning news program. Considering her excited comments about the upcoming changes, it is clear she regards this move as a new opportunity to connect with viewers and focus on coverage areas she is passionate about, such as education.
“Hi guys! I’m looking forward to my schedule change, which will allow me to still be a part of GMSA at 9, but it will also allow me to be out in the community, meeting you and covering stories that I’m passionate about (like education) DURING THE DAY,” Serna shared.
These changes promise to offer more comprehensive and engaging content for viewers, and the fresh mix of personalities will undeniably enhance the viewing experience for GMSA fans.
KSAT continually demonstrates its dedication to the principles of journalism. The network started with a commitment to inform viewers and has since incorporated artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to further its news gathering, reporting, and presentation processes. This move towards innovation and excellence underscores KSAT’s dedication to quality broadcasting.
This announcement of change in the team line-up showcases KSAT’s commitment to keeping its programs fresh, relevant, and engaging for all its viewers. These changes are anticipated to enhance the network’s viewership and strengthen viewer engagement in the era of digital news consumption.
As we conclude, viewers can look forward to these exciting and seamless transitions in the network’s morning show lineup. With this stimulating mix of established and returning talent, the network is looking forward to taking its morning show to new heights of popularity.
