San Antonio, TX — A tragic collision occurred in the early hours of Wednesday on the Northwest Side of San Antonio. A pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck rushing a stabbing victim to the hospital, according to San Antonio police. The unsettling incident happened near the Northwest Loop 410 access road and Callaghan Road.
As per initial police reports, the pedestrian was in the road when hit by the speeding truck. The truck driver had not been under the influence, confirmed the officials, but was taken into custody on suspicion of DWI.
