San Antonio will soon be welcoming yet another Postino Wine Café outlet. The Phoenix-based restaurant chain confirmed in a recent social media post that their second Alamo City spot will be opening its doors on June 6. The new location will be situated at 2600 Broadway, offering more than 5,500 square feet of dining space.
Known across their locations for their extensive collection of boutique wines and assortment of “snacky things”, the new Postino branch promises to follow the same successful formula. Apart from their unique collection of wines, the eatery offers signature dishes like bruschetta, charcuterie boards, panini, soups, salads, and more. Guests looking for a heavier meal can opt for entrees like grilled chicken skewers and shrimp scampi.
Postino Wine Café doesn’t only cater to wine connoisseurs. The café also offers more than 30 boutique wines and craft beers as well as a full-service bar. To enhance the dining experience, Postino also hosts a daily happy hour from opening until 5 p.m., offering $6 per glass of wine and $6 pitchers of local brews.
The Broadway opening follows the successful launch of its first San Antonio location last summer at 17627 La Cantera Parkway, Suite 103. Similar to its predecessor, the new Broadway outlet will also have a weekend brunch offering. While operating hours for the Broadway location have not yet been posted to the company’s website, if it mirrors the timing of the La Cantera outlet, the café will be open 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-midnight Friday, 10 a.m.-midnight Saturday, and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.
Since 1986, San Antonio has served as a vibrant, ever-growing palette for various food and drink establishments. As a vibrant city rich in culinary experience, it continues to thrive, offering a variety of choices to food connoisseurs. The new Postino Wine Café is a welcome addition to the diverse food and beverage offerings available to San Antonio residents.
The forthcoming opening of Postino Wine Café’s second San Antonio location is an optimistic move for the Phoenix-based chain. The expansion shows the company’s faith in the city’s thriving food and beverage sector. With their continued efforts in providing high-quality offerings and top-notch dining experience, Postino is sure to be warmly received by San Antonio locals.
Postino’s decision to source local brews not only offers customers an extensive choice of beverages, but it also promotes local businesses. This commitment to sourcing local, combined with top-class service, positions Postino Wine Café as not just a great dining space, but also a vital player in the uplifting of San Antonio’s local economy.
