Rudi Gutierrez Hits the Stage for the First San Antonio Concert Since The Voice Stint

Homegrown talent Rudi Gutierrez is ready to bring her stunning vocal abilities back to her roots after her exciting journey on NBC’s The Voice. Aged 28, Gutierrez marks her triumphant homecoming through a highly anticipated performance at the Friday, April 20, Fiesta event – Chanclas y Cervezas.

Last seen in November, she narrowly missed the live playoffs stage but left an indelible impression on audiences across the country. Now, she is geared up to set the stage on fire with her first concert performance in San Antonio since her stint on The Voice.

Fiesta Homecoming

When asked why she chose Chanclas y Cervezas for her homecoming concert, Gutierrez expressed her excitement to perform at the lively Fiesta event. She saw this as a top opportunity to reignite her performing side in San Antonio, supported by an impressive lineup including the iconic Kumbia Kings. For Gutierrez, this big, fun show was just the right setting for her first performance back home.

A Tradition Celebrated in Style

Fiesta events have been a longstanding Gutierrez family tradition, often marked by exuberant celebrations and cherished family time. Her family, especially close to a hundred relatives on her mother’s side, is now eagerly awaiting the occasion to watch her perform live at the much-celebrated event.

Rudi Gutierrez: Beyond The Voice

Gutierrez’s life has changed remarkably since her appearance on The Voice. She frequently gets recognized by fans, an experience she describes as fascinating, and has gained attention from music industry A-listers. One memorable instance was when she shared her music with music producer Timbaland, who praised her as ‘insanely talented’.

However, for Gutierrez, the real high point of her career has been working with Gwen Stefani, her childhood idol, during The Voice. This, along with her growing recognition, has made her journey in the entertainment industry a dream come true.

Deep San Antonio Roots

Despite currently living in Los Angeles, Gutierrez prides herself on her native roots. A staunch Spurs fan, she voices her joy over her hometown still claiming her as their own. Her recent performance at a Spurs game further underlined her close connection with San Antonio. Fans now wait with bated breath for her upcoming appearance at the Chanclas y Cervezas event, firmly positioning Gutierrez as a celebrated San Antonio sensation.
