San Antonio Public Library Ushers in Summer with a Multi-Age Scavenger Hunt

San Antonio, – As summer begins to heat up, The San Antonio Public Library is prepared to bring the fun with a scavenger hunt for all ages this coming Saturday. This public event aims to introduce families to the assortment of offerings available across all age brackets at the library throughout the summer and the year.

Activity Details

The adventurous scavenger hunt, to be held at the Central Library, will see participants fill out their hunt card as they go through different stages. Completion of the hunt card guarantees the bearer a special prize, a unique token of achievement for embarking and succeeding in the exciting quest. The library’s mascot, Smarty, accompanied by free paletas (Popsicle), promises to bring even more excitement to attendees.

Additional Attractions

Apart from the scavenger hunt, attendees can anticipate more fun activities. Al’s Funhouse Bubble Party is scheduled at the Children’s Library on the third floor of the Central Library. For those who love capturing moments, a selfie photo booth will be at their disposal. Moreover, as a step further, they will have a chance to meet and take selfies with Smarty, the library’s beloved mascot.

Schedule and Location

The Scavenger Hunt will take place this Saturday, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., at 600 Soledad. The Central Library is offering free parking in the library’s garage with validation for an extended period of up to three hours. Attendees are reminded to self-validate their parking ticket within the lobby area.
