San Antonio Pets Alive! Announces Fee Waiver for Pet Adoption Over Independence Day Weekend

San Antonio, Texas – Animal Lovers Get Ready for Red, White, & Rescued Event

San Antonio Pets Alive!, a notable non-profit animal rescue organization, is set to waive their fees for pet adoption over the upcoming Fourth of July weekend. This decision comes as a part of their much-anticipated Red, White, & Rescued event. The organization is encouraging folks to consider rescuing a pet and offering a beautiful forever home to the innocent animals.

Over 900 Animals Up For Adoption

In a bold move to counter overcrowding and give as many pets as possible the chance to find their perfect homes, San Antonio Pets Alive! has announced that over 900 adorable animals are available for adoption during the festivities. These animals vary in species, age, and temperament, which gives future pet parents a wide array of wonderful choices. San Antonio Pets Alive! is committed to showcasing these lovely animals and helping them find loving families.

Three Adoption Centers Open for Hopeful Pet Parents

Potential adopters have three centers where they can meet and choose their new family member:

  • SAPA! Rescue Center: Located at 4710 Highway 151, building 1. The rescue center’s hours are from 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
  • SAPA! Medical Care & Adoption Center: Located at 9107 Marbach Road, Suite 109. Hours are from noon- 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
  • SAPA! Petco Love Adoption Center: Located at 6001 NW Loop 410 Suite 103. The adoption center is open from 11 a.m.- 6 p.m. every day.

A Win-Win initiative for both Pets and Pet Lovers

Not only is the fee-waived event aimed at finding homes for rescued animals, but the move is also a strategic one to bring awareness to the plight of rescued pets. By reducing barriers to adoption, San Antonio Pets Alive! hopes this effort will result in a significant increase in the adoption of pets over the holiday weekend. Proud pet parents-to-be should ensure to be promptly prepared as the fiercely loved event is bound to attract a tremendous audience.

Donating to the Medical Care Program

While the adoption fees are waived for this event, San Antonio Pets Alive! encourages event attendees to donate to its vital medical care program. This program provides essential medical treatment and care to the animals sheltered at the center, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their forever homes. A donation, though not mandatory, can make a world of difference in the life of a rescued pet and continue the noble cause.

For pet lovers seeking a new fur baby to add to their families, the Fourth of July weekend just got a whole lot more exciting. Get ready to bring home a bundle of joy, love and wagging tails!
