Popular Salad and Go Concept Expanding its San Antonio Footprint

Adding Further to its Current Store Count, Salad and Go Digs Roots in the Far West Side

San Antonio’s fast-growing trend of drive-thru eateries is about to get a fresh addition. Salad and Go, the rapidly expanding fast-casual concept, is set to launch its sixth outlet in the city, this time in the far west side. According to an April 11 filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction at the new store located at 12342 W. U.S. Highway 90 is set to commence in October of this year, with completion expected by February 2025.

Fresh Service, Fresh Food

Emerging from Arizona, Salad and Go has quickly built an impressive reputation for its assorted platter of made-to-order salads, wraps, breakfast burritos and bowls. The Arizona-based chain is notable for its commitment to providing healthy, affordable and fast meal options for customers on the go. Its aim to redefine the fast-food industry has seen it quickly expand across Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada, with more than half of its 130 locations situated in the Lone Star State.

A Growing Presence in San Antonio

Salad and Go’s journey in San Antonio began in February 2024 with the opening of its first outlet at the South Side’s Brooks complex, located at 2810 Southeast Military Drive. The brand’s inroad into the San Antonio market came as part of its larger expansion plan, aiming to make nutritious foods more accessible and affordable. Encouraged by the warm reception and rapid growth in the city, two more stores — one at 14024 Culebra Road and another at 22413 Bulverde Road, are slated to throw open their doors this winter.

Healthy Options in the Fast Lane

Salad and Go’s concept combines speed, convenience and healthful offerings, a rare combination in the traditional fast-food landscape. Whether it’s a refreshing salad or a hearty breakfast burrito, every order is made fresh at the point of purchase, ensuring customers can enjoy delicious meals that doesn’t overlook nutrition.

A Welcome Addition to San Antonio’s Food Scene

The expansion of Salad and Go in San Antonio adds a much-needed diversity to the city’s fast-food scene. Now more than ever, San Antonio residents appreciate the accessibility of healthy fast-food options without compromising on taste. Therefore, Salad and Go’s commitment to offering fresh, quality, and affordable meal options will be a valuable addition to the city’s food landscape.

As San Antonio’s culinary scene continues to evolve, Salad and Go finds its fit perfectly. It’s not just about serving fast, quality meals, but about promoting a healthier lifestyle choice that can be accessed by every city resident. The brand’s ambitious and sustainable growth proves that the demand for quality, convenience, and affordability can exist along the chain of fast foods. And come 2025, San Antonio can look forward to more fresh, fast, and affordable meal options with the opening of this new Salad and Go location.
