Starting off the year, San Antonio will host DreamWeek from January 10th to 26th. This city-wide summit will fill over 100 locations with symposiums, panel discussions, film screenings, concerts, and art exhibits. Whether you’re a culture vulture or just looking for something enriching to do, this is the event for you!
Football fans shouldn’t miss the San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game on January 11th at 5 p.m. This exciting match features the top 100 high school seniors in the area right after the All-American Bowl. One ticket gives you access to both games, making it a score for sports lovers!
From January 18th to February 1st, indulge in Culinaria Restaurant Weeks, where you can enjoy three-course prix fixe meals at some of the city’s most beloved restaurants. It’s a fantastic time to try something new or revisit your favorites while savoring delectable dishes.
As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the MLK Day March on January 20th at 10 a.m. will bring the community together starting at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Academy. And, if you’re a morning person, don’t forget about the Cowboy Breakfast on January 24th at 5 a.m., kicking off the Rodeo BBQ Cookoff!
February is packed with fun too! The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo takes center stage from February 6th to 23rd at the Frost Bank Center/Freeman Coliseum, featuring a PRCA rodeo, a livestock show, and even a carnival! Plus, don’t miss the annual San Antonio Coffee Festival scheduled for February 8th (location still to be revealed), a treat for coffee aficionados!
March rolls in with the lively Bud Light Mardi Gras Festival & Parade on the 1st, followed by Theme Parks opening for Spring Break: SeaWorld from March 1-16 and Fiesta Texas from March 8-17. Add to that the St. Patrick’s Festival from March 14-16, where you can witness artisan booths along with the River dyed green on March 15, and you have a full month!
April and May will see an exciting mix of events such as the NCAA Men’s Final Four from April 4-7 at the Alamodome and the Fiesta celebrations from April 24 to May 4 that bring parades and exhilarating activities for everyone!
