Airport News: A Tug of War with Airlines
Meanwhile, on another front, the city of San Antonio is having some drama of its own surrounding the operations at San Antonio International Airport (SAT). Aeronautics is serious business, and discussions regarding operating agreements and terminal leases are heating up. Southwest Airlines, in particular, has voiced its dissatisfaction with the new airline operating agreement, expressing concerns about how future growth plans are being managed.

The city is firmly standing by its position that Southwest’s lawsuit is unfounded and should rather be resolved through FAA discussions.
