Mimo, as he was affectionately known, has been hailed as a hero after witnesses reported that he shielded others from the gunfire during the chaotic ambush. Multiple suspects, all young males and heavily armed, approached the home where Alvarado was visiting his girlfriend, Nazaree Martinez. They have organized a plate sale scheduled for this Sunday, where community members can enjoy a hearty meal while helping a grieving family. The plates, priced at $12, will include delicious chicken, sausage, rice, beans, bread, jalapeños, and a soda. This community effort underscores the spirit of unity and compassion that San Antonio is known for.
