San Antonio residents and nature lovers, get your cameras ready! The San Antonio River Authority (SARA) is thrilled to kick off its eighth annual River Clicks Photo Contest. This year, it’s not just about snapping a pretty picture; it’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the natural beauty that surrounds the stunning San Antonio River Basin.
This year’s contest features a special category dedicated to the Goliad Paddling Trail, located in the picturesque Branch River Park. The inclusion of this category is particularly special as it commemorates the 25th Anniversary of Canoe Trail Goliad. For those who may not know, Canoe Trail Goliad is a fantastic local nonprofit organization that partners with SARA to promote river recreation and nature-based tourism. So grab your paddles and head out for some scenic shots!
The contest is open to everyone in the community. While all nature photographers are invited to participate, it’s important to note that those who work with SARA, such as employees, board members, or interns, aren’t eligible for prizes.
