Exactly one week from now, San Antonio will transform into a hub of excitement and celebration as the highly anticipated 2025 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo kicks off! The festivities begin with the Western Heritage Parade & Cattle Drive on February 1, 2025. This exhilarating event is set to roll through the streets at 11 a.m., showcasing the rich history and culture of the West.
The parade will start at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Houston Street and culminate at the iconic Alamo. It’s a great way to soak in the local spirit, wave to cowboys and cowgirls, and maybe catch a glimpse of some impressively adorned cattle.
Don’t forget to lace up your running shoes bright and early on Saturday morning because before the parade, there’s the Stampede 5K starting at 9 a.m. This running event will kick off and finish at Milam Park, located at 201 W. Commerce St. It’s a fun opportunity for families and fitness enthusiasts alike to get in on the action.
And let’s not overlook the delicious culinary excitement happening with the Vaquero Cook-Off at Market Square! Running from January 31 to February 2, 2025, you’ll be able to indulge in some tasty barbecue and maybe even sample the best local dishes.
Mark your calendars because the main event—the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo—is set to run from February 8 to February 25, 2025. Head on over to the Frost Bank Center and Freeman Coliseum to witness thrilling rodeo competitions and live music performances, something every cowboy and cowgirl looks forward to!
One of the best parts of the rodeo is the exciting lineup of concerts! Tickets are already available for purchase online, starting at just $35.
