San Antonio TV Anchors Share Major Life Updates and New Bumps on the Road
News presenters of the lively city of San Antonio come forward with some big news about their personal lives — from first-time parenthood to second pregnancies. Privacy takes the backseat as these anchors give fans a look into their lives away from the screen.
Galli Embraces Fatherhood
Former reporter for KABB and WOAI-TV, Joe Galli, and his wife Shelby recently became parents to their first child. Ivy Anne Galli made her grand entry into the world on August 14, just a little past noon. Galli described the moment as the turning point in his life, explaining it felt like time itself had come to a standstill to share in his joy. “When I first laid eyes on Ivy… It felt like the world just stopped for a moment. I was completely overwhelmed, in the best way.”
The new father admitted that the initial month brought with it exhausting but exhilarating challenges. From having to bear the lack of sleep to adjusting to the unpredictable routine of the newborn, Galli, a professional wrestling commentator, has had his hands full. Life has indeed changed, but for him, every spontaneous smile from Ivy makes it all worthwhile.
Barrs on baby number two
Meanwhile, Breanna Barrs, a former co-anchor at KABB, surprised fans with her announcement of expecting her second child. A contrast to her first pregnancy, this one has been significantly easier according to the mom-to-be. “This pregnancy has been night and day compared to Petra! It’s been easy from the beginning. No morning sickness, and at 24 weeks my blood pressure is still good,” she expressed, hinting at Petra being her first child. The gender reveal on social media confirmed that a little boy is on the way.
Although the news has stirred up excitement, Barrs confessed to her concerns owing to her past complications. She ended up delivering Petra early at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia. Despite these worries, she is passionate about motherhood and is eagerly waiting for her second child, due this winter.
Sarah Two Times Over
Two more TV personalities from KSAT, Sarah Spivey and Sarah Acosta are also expecting. Spivey, together with husband Michael, is preparing for their baby boy’s arrival in December. Their fellow Good Morning San Antonio anchor, Sarah Acosta, is getting ready to welcome her first child in March. This time, it seems, really is the charm, with these television starlets announcing their pregnancies and giving viewers a delightful inside look into their off-stage lives.
While fans eagerly wait for more updates from their favorite TV anchors, it’s heartening to see the harmony between their on-screen and off-screen lives. San Antonio, brace yourself for an adorable flurry of sleeping schedules, baby posts, and shower gifts!
