Two suspects, Zoey Brooks and Tanner Hahn, have been arrested in connection with a series of violent robberies targeting vape shops in San Antonio. The initial incident took place on November 14, 2023, at the Vape Time store located in the bustling 13000 block of Judson Rd. Witnesses reported a woman who appeared to be scouting the store before the two male suspects made their move about a minute later. The scene escalated quickly when one of the suspects threatened the store clerk with a gun while the other frantically stuffed merchandise into a trash bag. Talk about a shocking evening!
But it didn’t stop there. The trio continued their crime spree, hitting additional stores on Nacogdoches Road and Fredericksburg Road within a short two-hour window, using the same alarming tactics. The level of coordination and boldness is astounding—and concerning.
The last robbery linked to Brooks and Hahn occurred on December 1, 2023, at a vape shop off Stone Oak Parkway. Utilizing surveillance footage, detectives managed to find a critical clue that would aid in cracking this case.
