San Antonio – Neighborhood and Housing Services will host a Virtual Property Tax Help Session at 6 p.m. on Monday to assist homeowners in saving on taxes. The virtual event, organized in collaboration with Texas True Tax, the Bexar County Appraisal District, and the Bexar County Tax Assessor Collector, aims to educate homeowners on various tax exemptions available and provide guidance on applying for them.
The session will feature tax professionals explaining the different exemptions offered to homeowners in San Antonio and the process of appealing to the Bexar County Appraisal District for these exemptions. Homeowners will have the opportunity to seek clarification and ask questions during the event, with one-on-one consultations available in-person throughout May. It is crucial to note that the deadline to appeal with the Bexar County Appraisal District is May 15.
The Virtual Property Tax Help Session will commence at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 4, and will be conducted via WebEx. Virtual attendees can access the session in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL). To join the meeting, attendees can click here or dial +1-415-655-0001 (Tolls May Apply) with the meeting password designated as COSATaxHelp (2672 8294 for phone attendees).
