Shakira Moves San Antonio Concert to Alamodome Due to High Demand

Shakira’s Concert in San Antonio Gets Major Makeover!

Hey, San Antonio fans! Exciting news is buzzing in the air as our beloved Shakira has made some big changes to her upcoming concert plans! It’s been announced that her San Antonio show has been moved to a larger venue and a new date, all thanks to the overwhelming demand from fans eager to see her perform live.

What’s the New Plan?

Originally, Shakira was set to rock the stage at the Frost Bank Center on November 16, but now, she’ll light up the Alamodome on June 13, 2025. This date change is part of her massive Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which is shifting from arenas to stadiums. What a fantastic upgrade!

Why the Change?

Shakira took to her social media to express her gratitude for the incredible support she’s been receiving. In a heartfelt Instagram story, she shared, “The demand for tickets and more shows has reached the point that our tour now requires stadiums in the USA and more dates so I can see as many of you as possible…I know many of you have made big efforts to be a part of these shows. Thank you so much for supporting me through this. Your understanding and love means the world to me and helps me to continue breaking barriers.”

What’s Happening with the Tour?

Shakira’s North American tour is kicking off on May 13, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina, at Bank of America Stadium. For all our fellow Texans, the excitement continues in Arlington on June 11, with Shakira gracing the Alamodome in San Antonio just two days later, followed by a show in Houston on June 15.

How to Get Tickets?

For those eagerly awaiting the chance to snag tickets, mark your calendars! Tickets for the San Antonio concert will go on sale at noon on October 25, so set your reminders and get ready to click away!

Refunds for the Arena Shows

If you had already bought tickets for the arena shows, don’t worry! According to Ticketmaster, refunds for canceled dates will be processed within 14 to 21 days. This ensures fans can get their money back and still be part of the excitement with the new stadium shows.

More on the Album!

Shakira’s tour is named after her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (which translates to “Women No Longer Cry”). This album has been breaking records, racking up over 10 billion streams within the first 24 hours of its release! It debuted at No. 1 on both Billboard’s Latin Album and Latin Pop Album Charts, and the hit song “Puntería” featuring Cardi B is top of the charts too!

Join the Excitement!

So, San Antonio, get ready! This is going to be an unforgettable experience filled with music, energy, and of course, that signature Shakira flair. With the move to the Alamodome, it’s clear that Shakira is committed to bringing the best show possible to her fans. We can’t wait to see her light up the stage!
