Sponsor Our ArticlesSan Antonio is preparing for the opening of Pastiche, a speakeasy-style bar located inside Tap Rack Social, announced by co-owner Benjamin Pratt. This cozy venue promises a Parisian atmosphere, with high-end wines and cocktails on the menu, ready to debut by April for the upcoming Final Four basketball tournament. The bar aims to provide an intimate setting for guests to enjoy exclusive flavors and a delightful ambiance. The original Pastiche has garnered a loyal following, and this new location is expected to enhance the vibrant nightlife of San Antonio.
San Antonio is buzzing with excitement as co-owner Benjamin Pratt recently announced a new location for Pastiche, set to open inside the popular sports bar, Tap Rack Social. This cozy little venture is just one more reason why the city is becoming a hotspot for unique bars and restaurants. The new bar will make its debut by April, just in time for the wildly anticipated Final Four basketball tournament.
The upcoming Pastiche will be located at 18402 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Suite 114, right where Tap Rack Social already offers an exciting range of entertainment options such as virtual golf and shooting bays available for rent. This means you can knock down a few pins or sink some holes and then unwind at the new Pastiche for a perfectly crafted drink.
This new venture aims to whisk guests away to the enchanting era of France’s Belle Epoque, promising a Parisian bar atmosphere that’s both elegant and inviting. Inspired by the charm of a bygone era, the new Pastiche is set to become a go-to spot for anyone looking for romance or simply a pleasant evening out with friends.
This project is a collaboration between Pratt and his partners, including Aubrey Lewis and Bernardo Baxter. They are thrilled about the synergy between Tap Rack Social and the new Pastiche, as both establishments are the product of their commitment to San Antonio’s social scene. Pratt, who serves in the active-duty Air Force, and Lewis, a retired Air Force member, also run On Tap Collective, an initiative aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs in the area.
The original Pastiche, located at 1506 E. Houston St., has risen to fame for its inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal location for date nights and neighborhood gatherings. Since its establishment, it has drawn a loyal crowd, which is only expected to grow with the opening of this new location. After a brief renovation to reset and refresh, the original Pastiche is anticipated to reopen shortly, ensuring fans won’t be kept waiting too long.
Moreover, the buzz isn’t stopping with just the new bar. The team behind these unique venues has even grander plans in the works! They have announced an expansion of the original Tap Rack, with a second location set for Cibolo, expected to open in the fall. It’s an exciting time for the team, who are also looking to franchise both Pastiche and Tap Rack to reach even more audiences beyond San Antonio.
The interest in Pastiche and its unique offerings has attracted attention from visitors outside the area. As the city’s nightlife continues to evolve and expand, exciting projects like this remind us that there’s always something new around the corner. So mark your calendars and get ready for a taste of Paris right in San Antonio!
