2. Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
The Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas returns from September 7 through to November 3. Making their first-ever appearances are the immersive horror experiences from Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and Warner Bros. Discovery’s “The Conjuring Universe.” Fans can get set to tour the hair-raising cases that inspired terrifying hits like “The Conjuring,” “Annabelle,” and “The Nun.” The theme park is bringing back its six haunted houses and six highly themed scare zones for the Halloween season alongside daily low-scare festivities at Kids Boo Fest and Oktoberfest.
3. Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld
Back again to fuel your nightmares, Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld boasts of six terrifying haunts and eight “Terror-tories” from September 13 until October 27. The park warns you to watch out for centuries-old vampires, revolting robots, sinister sorcerers, and other monsters that lurk after dark. One of the new terror-stories, “Till Death Do Us Party” promises to be a chilling ride where the party continues… even into the afterlife.
4. Terrorland Haunted Adventure
Not your average haunted house, the Terrorland Haunted Adventure is a haunted hayride on a hillside trail on the Southeast side of San Antonio. Running from September 27 to November 2, you can expect frightful faces hiding behind every tree during this year’s “Expedition Terror.” Be sure to steer clear of scratches from the sinister creatures lurking about – a single scrape could spell doom!
