Teenager Loses Life After Late Night Collision on Bulverde Parkway
San Antonio, TX – A tragic road incident happened on the far North Side of San Antonio on Thursday night, claiming the life of an 18-year-old male. The motorcycle crash occurred just after 11 PM in the 3700 block of Bulverde Parkway, near the intersection with Evans Road.
Collision Details: Motorcycle Vs Sedan
According to the initial police report, the teen was riding his motorcycle northbound on Bulverde Road, when he crashed into a blue sedan. The vehicle was traveling south and turning left onto Bulverde Parkway. Rescue personnel from the San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and the EMS were all dispatched to the scene. Regrettably, the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
Teenager not Identified Yet; Sedan Driver Sober
The identity of the teenager has not been released, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. There have been no discernible traffic violations, and the Motor Traffic Investigation Unit of the SAPD is looking into the matter. The driver of the sedan, whose identity also hasn’t been made public, didn’t exhibit signs of intoxication and was escorted to a nearby hospital as a precaution. The SAPD has not commented on whether the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
