According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, two masked men armed with semi-automatic long rifles indiscriminately fired over 25 rounds into the home, which was occupied by two adults and three children. “It’s very similar to the weapons that were used in the shooting of Maryann Marble,” Sheriff Salazar stated, indicating the importance of this discovery. The recovered gun will now undergo testing for any potential evidence that could provide more clues about the tragic incident.

Search for Persons of Interest

As authorities continue to pursue justice for little Maryann, they are also focused on several persons of interest connected to the case. Recently, it was revealed that two individuals—19-year-old Bryan Salazar and 20-year-old Isaiah Perales—were arrested in connection with an auto-theft crime ring and could potentially be linked to the tragic shooting. Both have since been released on bond.

Additionally, the sheriff’s office is searching for another individual, 18-year-old Ashton Vara Garcia, who may also have connections to both the auto thefts and the fatal shooting of Maryann.
