Candle-Making Experience for Sailor Moon Fans

At Mission Crafts Chandlery, fans of the cult-favorite anime show, “Sailor Moon”, can book a one-of-a-kind candle-making session this weekend. Featuring vessels inspired by the Sailor Guardians, participants can get creative by adding glitter, various candle dyes and even gemstones to their unique candle. In addition, a Sailor Moon cosplay contest will also take place on August 17th with the winner bagging tickets to San Japan.

Mission Kayak

Take a relaxing kayak adventure at Museum Reach, just north of downtown near the Pearl District. Available every Saturday and Sunday until Oct. 27, you can reserve a kayak with rentals ranging between $35 and $140.

“Red, White and BBQ: Tastes of America” Festival at SeaWorld San Antonio

Experience the diverse flavors of America at the “Red, White and BBQ: Tastes of America” festival at SeaWorld San Antonio. Open every weekend until Sept. 2, the festival offers five different types of BBQ styles from across the nation.
