Bold and spirited, Whiskey Business is returning to San Antonio this month. The much-anticipated event is set to take place on Friday, August 23rd, 2024, at the Witte Museum. The annual whiskey-tasting event will feature a broad range of whiskies, bourbons, and scotches, giving attendees the chance to sample a taste of the world in one place.
Guests have the opportunity to indulge in delectable cuisine from some of San Antonio’s best restaurants. Food isn’t the only thing to explore during the event. The museum’s grounds will also serve as a cultural backdrop for various enjoyable activities.
Gain remarkable knowledge and insights by participating in educational seminars about whiskey. There will be brand ambassadors present to interact with attendees, shedding more light on their favorite whiskey brands. Attendees can enjoy live music performances and the energy of multiple DJ stages, creating a versatile event that caters to diverse preferences.
Whiskey isn’t the only spirit on offer. Craft beer and wine will be available, providing a broad selection for tasting. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Witte Museum, contributing further to culture and education in the city.
Tickets for the event are available at sawhiskeybusiness.com. General admission tickets cost $80. These include admission, food and drink samples, and access to ‘Sipping Sessions,’ where distillers provide deeper insights into their craft.
For those seeking a more premium experience, VIP tickets are also available. These come with the perks of valet parking, access to rare spirits samples, and special food and drink experiences, taking the event to another level of delight.
This year’s event will see spirits from makers such as Brugal, Devil’s River, Rebecca Creek, Texas Ranger, Penelope Bourbon, and Blue Run Spirits, with more participants adding diversity to the selection.
Foodies, too, have a cause for celebration. Several San Antonio restaurants will serve bites of their signature dishes. This includes the likes of The Good Kind, Tu Asador Mexican Steakhouse, Cosmic Cakery, Cakes by Felicia, The Moon’s Daughters, and Stella Public House among others.
