According to authorities, Bafidis was involved in an argument with an unidentified male while in a truck at the 17800 block of La Cantera Terrace. The dispute reportedly took place around 1:30 a.m on Saturday. During the course of the dispute, the man decided to drive away. Tragically, Bafidis held onto the moving truck but fell, leading to fateful blunt-force injuries to her head. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to her injuries.

Following her death, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the incident to be an accident. San Antonio police responding to the incident noted that upon their arrival, they found Bafidis with visible head injuries.
